VST Directories

Configure your VST directories here. Ideally, the folders should match those which you configured in Maschine/Komplete Kontrol.

Add Default VST Directories lets you quickly add commonly used VST directories like C:\Program Files\VstPlugins and C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins.

NI User Content Directory

Defines the location of your NI User Content Directory, where PresetMagician stores the exported presets. If you leave this blank, PresetMagician will use the default content directory locationDocuments\Native Instruments\User Content.

Auto-Create NKS Resources

This setting controls if PresetMagician should auto-create NKS resources if they're absent for a plugin.

NKS Resources are images (which are shown on their hardware products as well as in Maschine and KK), abbreviated plugin names for the hardware, a plugin base color and plugin categories.
